Empowering Local Communities to Create Lasting Change

The Bumpeh Alliance Development Project (BADP) was formed in 2015 by two Sierra Leoneans and an American with the explicit purpose of supporting Bumpeh Academy Secondary School and the town of Rotifunk, Sierra Leone.

We support ongoing construction at Bumpeh Academy, assist with school fees by providing select scholarships for students, help with professional capacity building, including academic training for secondary school teachers, and are designing projects for community needs including a poultry farm.

Our vision is to improve the quality of life in Rotifunk town and increase the local’s access to education, and our mission is to achieve the structural needs of Bumpeh Academy so that it is competitive with the best schools in Sierra Leone while also working alongside the Rotifunk community to support their locally-led projects for development.
